48 hour chemo-day 2

Here is a little update on yesterday. Mom started the day doing pretty well. No nausea which is a major feat with chemo and feeling pretty well other than a rough night with little sleep. She enjoyed a lovely visit from her dear friend Myra and took some time to rest during the day. Mark and his Mom, Janice, came to visit in the afternoon and then she was able to rest a bit more before Dad came by. I was able to come by in the evening just as Mom and Dad were out for a stroll to see the sunset. I love the view up at Huntsman! You can see the whole Salt Lake Valley and it's really peaceful. She started feeling nausea in the late afternoon and that carried into the evening but they were working on it for her when Dad and I left for the evening.

She has really enjoyed hearing from people and appreciates all of the support. We are hopeful that she will get to come home tonight as the chemo should stop by 6:30 PM. They may keep her over night just to make sure she is okay, but at the latest we should have her home tomorrow morning. She will go in on Sunday for a shot to increase her white blood cell count. These shots were administered during her last chemo sessions and were always pretty awful for her. Lot's of body aches and nausea and general weakness, but they are life saving shots so we are grateful for them! Thank you all again for your prayers and support!
